MERRY CHRISTMAS

I don't care what you say, this is the most wonderful time of the year. I'm so happy to enjoy it with friends and family and I hope you are able to do the same.

IT'S A WRAP

Like any seasoned procrastinator, I'm wrapping gifts last-minute while remembering all the little things I forgot to purchase. This year I went for a natural look and I'm pretty pleased with how all the wrapping turned out.

TREE TREE TREE

The first thing I do when I wake up on these cold December mornings, is run into our living room and turn on our sparkly Christmas tree. She emits the most perfect glow throughout the entire day and she keeps me company while my husband is away running errands. Not to mention that there is nothing like the smell of a freshly cut tree when you're dragging your tired feet through the front door after a long day at work.

TWAS A WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS

It's been a busy month of December and I'm happy to say that presents have been purchased, cookies have been baked and carols have been sung. Hope you're having a jolly Christmas week!

LATELY ON THE IPHONE

Lately I've been spreading general holiday cheer all around town. Maybe not exactly all around town, but definitely in my home and workplace. I've been embellishing my wardrobe with fanciful holiday wear almost daily and all my halls are decked. The holidays are especially dear to me because this is the season when my husband and I started bonding during our pre-dating days. I tried finding pictures from this joyous winter-time but, alas, these treasured will be saved for another day.

OH CHRISTMAS TREE

This past Saturday we got our Christmas tree! This is usually my favorite holiday activity because it doesn't involve me sitting on the couch while eating various baked goods but rather it encourages me to get up in the wee hours of the morning and run around for a couple hours through nature. We went to the same tree/chicken farm as we went to last year and chopped down the perfect little tree for our place.
